Throughout this week we have had the opportunity to receive the visit of different groups of Bizilabe of Elgoibar which has allowed us to show the young people of the town what we do in Berkoa Machine Tools.

The program Bizilabe – Gazteentzako zientzia-bizipenen labea, aims to promote science among young people. First, the kids had the opportunity to see the facilities, meet the staff and their role within the company. After a stop in the meeting room, they were able to play a game to learn about the machines manufactured by Berkoa, the parts they make and what these parts are used for. To finish with the highlight of the visit, trying on 3D glasses.

Together with our assembly colleagues, Uraitz and Ioritz, and their explanations, they were able to try a simulation of what is worked on the machine, specifically, the Ikasmak 5.1, machines for vocational training centers. After some lost pieces and a lot of laughter, which was undoubtedly the most amusing moment of the visit, they concluded with a snack.
