This year, the BIEMH 2024, a fair of great importance for the machine tool sector, has been a crucial event for Berkoa Machine Tools. During these days, we have had the privilege of participating once again in the International Machine Tool Biennial at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Barakaldo.

The participation has been impressive, and this is what our managing director, Andoni García-Abad, highlights in the video that accompanies this article. Andoni highlights the great attendance we have had at our stand, as well as the enthusiasm and commitment of the Berkoa team. We are deeply grateful both to our regular customers and to the new visitors who came to see our products.

At Berkoa Machine Tools, we are dedicated to manufacturing new machines and performing retrofittings to improve and update existing equipment. We are proud to be the only statewide manufacturer of rotary friction welding machines, such as our SoldAvanza. This machine, developed in collaboration with the Lortek technology centre, is available in our facilities for subcontracting: batch manufacturing, prototyping, trials and testing, demonstrating our advanced welding capabilities.

A highlight of our presence at the fair was our collaboration with our partner Innovae, where together we developed several virtual reality projects, including the IkasMak machine for the education sector. The integration of these technologies has generated a great deal of interest and has allowed visitors to experience first-hand how virtual reality and mixed reality can transform learning in industrial environments.

We would like to express our most sincere thanks to all those who visited our stand: regular customers, new customers, partners, institutions, etc. We would also like to thank the AFM team who, as always, have taken care of us, supporting us and making us known, bringing institutions to our stand. The BIEMH 2024 has been, without a doubt, an exceptional platform and as Andoni mentions in the video, this edition of the BIEMH 2024 has been ‘one of the good ones’.
